Anas clypeata
Male dabbling duck with long dark shovel shaped bill. Green head and white chest and chestnut belly and sides. Forewings are bluish and with green speculum.
These can be found in marshes, lakes and ponds. These were found in retention ponds.
Sometimes a pair will work together feeding on small crustaceans and plankton. But also swim in large groups in circle to funnel the food. As seen in the last two pictures.
