Corticioid Fungus or Crust Fungus

Description:

Large crusty fungus which must grow quite quickly since it has engulfed fallen twigs and leaves. If it is a Corticioid (or "Crust") Fungus, then this would be the fruiting body, with the fungus plant inside the wood. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corticioid....
