Spotting

Description:

My husband rescued this wasp. It was at the bottom of a drain pipe during heavy rain. It was fairly big, maybe just under 3cm.

Habitat:

Found near native bushland, around 7km from the coast. Near Eucalyptus sp. Acacia sp. Melaleuca sp. and Angophora sp. Attracted to nightlight. Sugar cane farms nearby.
