A particularly aggressive Velvet Swimming Crab. The largest swimming crab found in British coastal waters, with the back two pereiopods flattened to aid swimming. Found in a rock pool in the inter-idal zone.

Great set of pics Sam. What an agressive crab !!... in #5 it's trying to poke your camera with a stick.
