Unusual Fungus

Description:

A very small and strange little fungus growing from a long stem on a rotting log under dripping moss near a waterfall.

Habitat:

Huastecas Forest, Las Pozas, Xilitla, San Luis Potosí.

Thank you Mark, they look similar to this one (http://www.ascofrance.com/forum/23657/ra...) of the Xylariaceae, but these were longer, more slender and very fragile.
