Description:

About 20cm long excluding the tail. Grey/brown cryptic colouration; the scales are keeled with a sharp pointy end, giving the lizard its spiny appearance. Endemic to Mexico.

Habitat:

Semi-arid region in El Cimatario national park, in Querétaro.
