Description:

This weed is from the Poppy family, unintentionally introduced possibly from the nearby Botanical Garden via seed eating birds. Though pretty flowers, these are not native. Native of Africa and found in many other countries, as also used to smother other weeds. Thin stemmed with pinnatisect type leaves. These flower clusters are white with dark purple tips.
