Artist's Conk Fungus

Ganoderma applanatum

Description:

A hard orange-brown shelf or bracket fungus with a white underside. Plant tissue around the fungus was sprinkled in a brownish powder, visible in the background of the pictures. Family Ganodermataceae.

Habitat:

Huasteca Forest, Edward James Surrealism Park, Xilitla, San Luis Potosí.

Notes:
