Description:

This bird measures 12 cm. The male, with its distinctive white and black collar was so named. In addition to the collar, side of the black throat as a "white mustache" defines the area under the yellow beak or slightly gray-green.

Habitat:

Their habitat is open grasslands and fields, occurring almost throughout Brazil.
