Sagebrush Lizard

Description:

A spiny lizard. Grayish-green to brown with darker spots. Males have light blue on throat and darker blue belly patches. Females have pinkish orange on sides and neck.

Habitat:

Deserts primarily areas of sagebrush and gravelly soils or fine sand dunes. Always close to shelter, crevices and burrows.

Notes:

He was just hanging out under a bush getting some sun.
