Zosterops luteus balstoni
The Yellow White-eyes are" largely yellow to greenish-yellow plumage, grey legs, brown eyes and a grey to blackish beak. Like other white-eyes (Zosteropidae species), the Australian yellow white-eye is characterised by the conspicuous ring of tiny white feathers around its eye. In this species, the white ring is broken at the front by a blackish stripe between the eye and beak." This is the subspecies Zosterops luteus balstoni, and it is recognised by "being slightly greyer above and paler below than Zosterops luteus luteus" (http://www.arkive.org/australian-yellow-... )
There was a little band of them hanging around in the reeds and grasses at the waste water wetlands.
