Spotting

Description:

Stink Bug Eggs - Pentatomidae

Eighteen, perfectly laid eggs that were barrel-shaped and deposited in a very neat, compact cluster. They were standing upright, were pale yellowish with red markings seen on/through the lids. The circular lids had tiny spines around the edges.

Habitat:

I found them on the underside of a leaf (plant species unknown) in a meadow.

Notes:

I thought they might be Podisus sp., but am not sure as I can't find a match.
