Green Sea Urchin

Strongylocentrotus droebachiensis

Description:

You can see its tube feet are showing in the first photos. I found the other, more purple one (photos 3 & 4) in another tide pool on the same beach, and it is also a green urchin.

Habitat:

Tide pool on a rocky seashore

Notes:

After finding some interesting creatures the day before, I came back to see if I could find some more great organisms. I was not disappointed- more spottings to come!
