Mesosemia lamachus
This little butterfly was flying around some bushes in a patch of sunshine in the Matagalpa Cloud Forest. It obligingly settled for a few minutes in the sun. The scales shone blue in the sunlight.

Thanks guys... Golly, both these butterflies look the same to me. But I'm inclined to go with Purple-washed Eyed Metalmark because of that dark line that continues from the forewing, halfway through the hindwing. http://butterfliesofamerica.com/mesosemi...
Any comments Francisco or Brett?
