Wild Water Lemon

Description:

I'm thinking it is some kind of passionfruit. The fruit itself is hidden in the little 'bulb' you see on pic#2. Couldn't find ripe fruit yet, but I know it is orange, and about 0.5" across. It is also edible, inside looks like normal passionfruit, a little bit yellowish. Notice that the plant is hairy all over the leaves.

Habitat:

It was growing by a hedge, warm, tropical, little bit of water here and there, etc.
