Nice one Bob5. Congrats on your sotd.
DanielePralong😊. The only photo. It jumped before I could get a better shot.
You're welcome Bob! Do you by any chance have a picture of the whole frog? Your frog portraits and close-ups are very engaging, but for documentation and education purposes images of the entire animal are important. For rhacophorid frogs it's great to see their toe pads and impressive limbs :-)
I am honoured by this. Thank you DanielePralong and Mark Ridgway
Beautiful shot bob5. Congrats.
Congratulations Bob, your Collett's Tree Frog is our Spotting of the Day:
"With quite a pointed snout and a distinct tympanum, this beautiful Collett's Tree Frog (Polypedates colletti) is our Spotting of the Day! This tree frog belongs to the family Rhacophoridae, which comprises African and south-east Asian frogs found from ground level to the forest canopy. Rhacophorid frogs build foam nests during breeding: while in amplexus adults kick their hind limbs to beat mucous from their bodies into a frothy mass onto which eggs can be laid. Like other arboreal frogs they have toe pads to stick to trees".
