wow, thanks so much!!! I didn't think this spider would ever be identified, because there are so many spiders and insects in Papua that have never been described. It is so cool that you found out what kind it is!

Not a Maratus (peacock spider) as they have an extra colourful flap or fan on top of the abdomen for display... but it sure is a pretty jumping spider.
