Catopsilia pomona pomona
The male Lemon Emigrant -f. alcmeone (Catopsilia pomona pomona Fabricius 1775 (Pieridae; Coliadinae) has chalky-white upperside, while underside groundcolour could be variable, from white with ochraceous tinge, greenish white or sulphur-yellow. The forewings and hindwings are typically without markings. The ssp. C. p. pomona is the ssp. occurring throughout the Philippine islands. In the 3rd photo, the Lemon Emigrant can be seen mudpuddling with a male Chocolate Albatross (Appias lyncida andrea Eschscholtz 1821) and 2 Forest Whites (Appias aegis illana C. & R. Felder 1862).
