Eriodictyon tomentosum
Small furry and sticky tubular pink flowers which when dry, turn an orange-brown color and remain on the plant. The shrub is woody with woolly grey-green leaves, standing about 80 cm (last picture). This shrub is endemic to California, where it grows on the chaparral slopes of the central coast ranges. Family Boraginaceae.
