Large Sphinx Moth about 6 cm long. This one is much redder than the one spotted farther north in the mountains (central part of Chiapas) (http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/238...).

Habitat:

Came to an ultraviolet light, Finca Argovia, Ruta de Café, Soconusco Area of Chiapas, about 2 hours north of Tapachula.
