Tiger Moth

Description:

Brown Tiger Moth with dark brown wing veins, 1.8 cm long. It has two red spots on the base of the head and a red spot on each side of the thorax. Erebidae, Arctiinae.

Habitat:

Came to an ultraviolet light, Finca Argovia, Ruta de Café, Soconusco Area of Chiapas, about 2 hours north of Tapachula.
