Violet-toothed Polypore

Trichaptum abietinum

Description:

Pinkish-purple poroid fungus. Its undersurface was more toothed, than poroid though. They didn't have traditional caps. 1-2 cm wide.

Habitat:

Growing on a decaying, fallen conifer that was mostly barkless. Next to a pond in a mixed forest.
