Description:

Plants, approximately 7-8 inches tall Flowers ca. 0.25 inches diameter; in a branched series of 3-4 helicoid false racemes that elongate at maturity; one-sided, coiled cymes; five fused petals forming a shallow funnel; pink at margin, white band to yellow center; five calyces, also hairy. Stem. Each plant may have several branches; hairy. Leaves. Alternate; sessile, lanceolate, finely hairy.

Habitat:

Growing in grass at side of road, in full sun.
