Anagallis arvensis ssp. foemina
Small flowers about 8 mm in diameter, short stalk, are produced in the leaf axils and are usually blue, but exceptionally they may be red. They have five lanceolate sepals and five petals. The filaments are about 3 mm long, with showy yellow anthers. The flowering period extends from April to October.

According to new comparisons of DNA sequences between the species of the genus anagallis, this subspecies is transered in the genus Lysimachia as a seperate species: Lysimachia foemina.
