Tree Swallow

Tachycineta bicolor

Description:

A small swallow with iridescent blue upper parts and white under. They are cheeky little birds, and love their nest boxes. Always neat to see them preforming aerial acrobatics to catch insects and drink on the wing.

Habitat:

open field
