Possibly a Spring Azure Butterfly. Is light blue in color when flying.

The chevrons and dots at the top edges of the wing are the best field identification clues for the spring azure.Michigan also has Northern Azures, but they have a dark spot in the wings. Your picture does not display that. Maybe the blotch is an artifact of age.Sometimes the summer azure and spring azure are considered the same species. Great shot! Definitely Celastrina sp, but I can't help you more than that.
I looked at all 5 species of Azure and it does look more like the Spring Azure/ Celastrina ladon
