Black face mask slightly above and below the eye; crown washed chestnut; red eyes (lesser masked weaver has whitish/creamy-eyes); pink legs; yellowish breast and underparts; ,wings yellowish-green with black colour; bill is blackish/dark silver grey coloured Photo taken at Tarangire National Park, Tanzania

Habitat:

Wooded areas and bush region, semi-arid areas.

Notes:

Generally seen solitary or in pairs Nest are interestingly onion shaped, entry from bottom.
