Curcuma sp.

Curcuma sp.

Description:

I believe that this particular plant is a member of the Zingiberaceae family (Gingers). Could anyone please identify this? EDIT (28/04/16): This one is from the genus Curcuma. Can anyone pinpoint what species this is?

Habitat:

I found this particular plant near the summit of Mt. Batolusong in Brgy. San Andres, Tanay, Rizal Province, Philippines. They are abundant and can be easily seen growing on the bamboo forest ground and the charred grassland (it's summer and wildfires are abundant in the country.)
