Vulpes lagopus
Blue morph arctic fox sighted in Hesteyri, Iceland, in the Horrnstrandir Nature Reserve. Arctic foxes are the only native, terrestrial mammal in Iceland. Blue morph is least common in the world, but the most common in Iceland, as the foxes are more associated with the shore for feeding, so they do not require a white coat to camouflage in the winter with the snow.
