Giant House Spider

Eratigena atrica

Description:

Big scary spider. Leg span is maybe an inch or so, maybe an inch and a half. Pretty long pedipalps. Brown with some dark brown/black markings.

Habitat:

Dark areas, that's probably why it was under my couch.

You're right it does look like male Eratigena atrica but I don't know US arachnids much.
