Aspidimorpha westwoodi
About 2cm long and almost as wide, this chrysomelid is bright orange with black spots. Circling the body, is an extension of the cuticle which forms a translucent 'shield' around the beetle, and covering its head from above. The black spots continue onto the extension on four corners.
Found among pot plants in agricultural area with some patches of rainforest.
