Description:

Perennial vine. Large flowers last for just one day, but are continuously blooming in warm weather. Uses long, fast-growing, freely-rooting runners to control erosion and stabilize sand dunes.

Habitat:

Beaches and coastal areas in tropical and subtropical regions.

Notes:

Florida native coastal wildflower.
