Common House Gecko

Hemidactylus frenatus

Description:

Very common...at least one in every room...a walking pest control officer. This one has pale skin without any patterns.

Habitat:

At lunch in office, I often put out bits of fruits for civet cats, birds, bees and butterflies. See who came to eat a bit of pear-core and a slice of the fruit. I did not know house lizards are frugivorous too. It scuttled over the side of the window sill WITH the fruit firmly in its mouth.

Notes:

But why am I surprised? http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/335...
