Description:

Belongs to the pea family. It is a twining vine with 2 kinds of flowers: those on upper branches and lower branches. Leaves are pinnately divided into 3 leaflets, ovate, pointed. Flowers August through Sept.

Habitat:

Spotted along the Old Indian Hiking Trail at Tamarac NWR. It was growing along the trail in a damp hardwood area.
