Spotting

Description:

This bird just started appearing at my birdfeeder. It is a mottled brown colour and doesn't seem to be with any of the other flocks. It is around the size of a robin but lacks the red chest. The beak is brown but has a slight yellow tinge to it, and seemed to be pointy much like that of a blackbird. It is not aggressive and interacted with the resident; black birds, House Sparrows and Cardinals.

Notes:

Unfortunately this bird flew off before I could get a better photo and I haven't seen it recently.

Gabbie... it's really hard to tell how big it is... can you help describe it a bit better? Is it bigger than a robin? What shape is the beak? Really pointy like a blackbird, or bulky-pointy like a crow, or triangle like a cardinal or sparrow?

Any other clues would be great!
