Horse-shoe crab

Habitat:

Mouth of rivers, creeks and shallow oceans.

Notes:

This species is dying out, its habitat is being degraded by excessive human activity, such as over fishing. This specimen, was lying inert on the shallow banks and was thought dead. On inverting it, it thankfully could crawl back to the creek.
