Crotalus scutulatus

Description:

This Crotalus scutulatus was found it in the middle of the road,maybe it was crossing from a crop area to another but decided to take a rest. It seemed very calm when I approached to take this pictures, the snake didn't use its rattle in any moment.

Habitat:

Semi-arid zone with presence of desert shrubland dominated by Opuntia spp., also presence of small agriculture areas and some roads with little presence of vehicles
