Black Cherry Tree (Flowers)

Prunus serotina

Description:

The flowers from a Black Cherry. The fruit will ripen over the season, and this raceme will turn into green berries that will become bright red and then black.

Notes:

Silly me. Until today, because of the beautiful striped bark on these trees, I thought they were the native Black Birch!
