Big-eyed Toad Bug

Description:

Small, brown and tan bug. Very good camouflage! The toad bug moves with small hopping motions. I found this one on the muddy bank of a freshwater pond.

Habitat:

Freshwater pond shore within a campground.

Notes:

This is the first time I have ever seen a Toad Bug!
