Description:

Crust-like patches with crowded, pendulous, waxy spines. The spines stain reddish when bruised, and have an unpleasant odor. This is the first confirmed spotting of this species on Project Noah.

Habitat:

Growing on the side of a rotting log in a deciduous forest.
