Phengodes sp.
The Phengodidae are soft-bodied beetles with bioluminescent larviform females and larvae. The male is very soft-bodied and more beetle-like with short pointed elytra and plumose antennae which help it find the stationary females (which are usually much larger). This male is about 5 mm long.
Came to an ultraviolet light in the garden, San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters.
