Ctenucha virginica
"Tussocked" with row of black middorsal abdominal tufts; first and last tufts longer than those of intervening segments. Flanking white, blond, or yellow setal tufts may obscure black middorsal tufts. Beneath tufts, body nearly black with broken, cream subdorsal and white subspiracular stripes. Prolegs usually reddened. Head to either side of triangle blackened; remainder of head orange to red. Larva to 4cm.
