Moth

Micronia aculeata

Description:

Basically white with grey marks. Black dots on the edge of the hind wings.

Habitat:

Just outside my house. I thought it was stuck on a bit of cobweb on the grassy weedy vegetation and was dead. As I touched its legs it just grasped my finger and climbed on to it; it wasn't tangled or anything. Maybe just resting. I set it down on the white spider lilies and later, I saw it had found a new resting place on the stem of the plant.
