Description:

40mm long. Wings pure white with some black dots spread simetrically. Border intense red, rounding the head. White leggs, black feet. Family: Arctiidae Subfamily: Arctiinae Tribe: Spilosomini Genus: Aloa Species: A. lactinea Binomial name Aloa laetata

Habitat:

Tropical forest; close to the seaside (South Sea Of China).

We have this moth on Siargao island .The body is a beautiful red.
The caterpillar is like a "woolly bear" ; brown and black.
