Also, they are not commonly found in salt water environments, being more of a freshwater bird. It's interesting to see it here in Miami Beach.

The Anhinga is also known as Snake Bird for their long necks. When they are not hunting underwater, they swim with only their long neck sticking out of the water; very Loch Ness monster like.
