Millipede

Description:

[Caution, I just read this!] Millipede burns are a cutaneous condition caused by some millipedes that secrete a toxic liquid that causes a brownish pigmentation or burn when it comes into contact with the skin.[1] Some millipedes produce quinones in their defensive secretions, which have been reported to cause brown staining of the skin.

Notes:

This was about 2~3" long and this is my first spotting of this kind.

Thank you very much TicThapanya. Arun gave me the ID as yellow spotted millipede. Everything fits except the spots were not yellow. It was pinkish white, so I am wondering if I should call it "yellow spotted." What do you think?

Thank you very much for ID. I truly appreciate your help. My spotting did not have yellow spotted on its back. The color was pinkish white. I also spotted another one exactly like this and it was also pinkish white. Was it because they were still young? Or, shall I call it White Spotted millipede?
