Aspidimorpha miliaris
Aspidimorpha miliaris (Fabricius, 1775), called the Spotted Tortoise Beetle, of family Chrysomelidae, subfamily Cassidinae. The genus name is frequently misspelled as "Aspidomorpha", due to an unjustified spelling change in 1848. This is considered a pest to sweet potato crop. This spotting is orange-colored.. Earlier this year, I've spotted the white/yellow-colored version of this tortoise beetle: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/171... http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/177...
