Members of the Carp family, these are free living but fed by park visitors. Many of these are up to half a metre or more long. Refer to the reference file for details of their heritage, there are ongoing studies of the Cyprinus species following domestication.

Thanks Janet, there does seem to be some doubt about whether they are domesticated from Cyprinus carpio or Cyprinus rubrofuscus or a mix of both.
Koi
