The ladybug wasnt brooding the eggs, she recently laid them and I guess was resting before she flew away.

No those are her eggs I watched her earlier in the day lay them. We have native ladybugs too, the thing is my shrubs are full of aphids being I use no pesticides, so ladybugs and mantids are abundant and I see lots of ladybug species.

Probably eating some other ladybug's eggs. Those invasive Asian Ladybugs are mean.
