White Butterbur

Petasites albus

Description:

I found these flowers in a beech forest, they grew up under a pile of dry leaves. They are perennial plants that can grow up to 80 cm in height during fruiting (normal size 10-40 cm); in other areas have been recorded up to 120 cm tall plants. They have a strong dimorphism between the radical and cauline leaves.
